Why this dupe

That sculptural hourglass heel, wide at the crown and pinching to a narrow foot, is the whole Amina Muaddi idea, and the Luca carries it in white capretto, a fine-grained goat leather handmade by skilled artisans, with the same pointed toe and scooped vamp visible in both images. Its heel reads slightly more symmetrical than the original's more dramatically flared trapezoid, a softer architectural choice, and at $199 against $650, about a third of the price, it is a considered piece of design, not a fallback.
