Why it's worth it
The ruffle is on the strap — not the bag.
The Edit
Black leather, matte-finished and clean on the body, then erupting into a multi-tiered ruffle along the back edge of the single top handle — the contrast between the two halves is the entire design concept. The crescent base sits low under the arm with flush, cleanly stitched edges, while gold-toned hardware at the strap junction is the only other interruption. Interior capacity is compact, consistent with the sculptural intention.
