The Drop Edit
Linya Jewellery Long Pearl Necklace

Why it's worth it

One strand that ties at the neck, wraps the waist, or drapes as a belt.

The Edit

A 59-inch rope of mixed freshwater pearls — ranging from 3mm seed pearls to lumpy baroque forms — strung on a continuous thread and terminated at each end with an oversized freeform baroque drop secured by a gold knot closure. The extreme length allows it to be knotted, doubled, or wrapped at the waist without a clasp, using the weighted baroque ends as anchors. Surface texture varies noticeably between pearls, giving the strand an organic, uneven profile.

Insider Tip

At 59 inches with no clasp, the baroque end-drops are the only thing keeping it in place — knot carefully or it will slip.
