A button-front yoke holds the waist fitted before releasing into an enormous gathered balloon hem — the seam between the two is where all the drama lives. The skirt's globe silhouette sweeps nearly to the floor, with enough volume to hold its shape without a crinoline. Clean off-white fabric keeps the sculptural cut the sole point of the piece.
