Body-conscious party dresses and eveningwear with contoured seaming, mesh panels and cut-out details.

the contoured party dress
Bec + Bridge makes party dresses with real construction: body-skimming cuts shaped by seams, mesh and cut-outs that look considered rather than loud.
The dresses are built like eveningwear, with seamed bodices, bias-cut skirts, sheer mesh layers and twisted or spiraled drapes that shape the body. Much of each collection is made in Sydney, where in-house pattern makers work alongside local makers the label has used for years, and the fabrics run to fluid crepes, georgette and mesh that hold the cut.
Bec + Bridge is on sale now.~50% off
50% off dresses that rarely discount, but a week in, the best sizes are likely thinned out.
Bec Cooper and Bridget Yorston met on their first day of fashion school in Sydney, and the nickname friends gave the inseparable pair became the label's name. They started it after graduating in 2003 and showed at Australian fashion week the following year.
It grew into a Sydney label known for its party dresses, alongside tailored separates, knitwear and bridal, with much of each collection still made locally.
From reviews and try-on videos, in our words.
Fit changes from style to style, so read each product's fit note: some run large and suggest a size down, while non-stretch dresses suggest sizing up if you're between sizes. US sizes mostly run 0 to 12, some to 16.
Most pieces are polyester crepe, georgette or mesh, often with a little stretch, and many are dry clean recommended or cold hand wash only, so check the care label before you buy.
US orders ship express from Sydney for $25, and US import duties and taxes are covered by the brand rather than added at checkout.
Full-price pieces can come back within 14 days for a refund or exchange; US refunds lose a $10 return label fee, waived for exchanges. Sale pieces, swimwear and bodysuits are final sale.
