Concept A Label is the slow-fashion project of Amelia Akle, a designer based in Sydney. She hand-sources vintage and deadstock fabrics from around Sydney, country New South Wales and overseas, then pattern-makes, cuts and sews each piece in her studio.
The label became known for lace maxi dresses and circle skirts cut from old tablecloths and crochet, pieces that give forgotten linens a second life and are never made twice.
