About Le Borô
Designer Gabriela Nascimento started Le Borô in 2021, after her aunt Juliana asked her to create a brand. It began in Joinville, in southern Brazil, with boots, under a name taken from borogodó, Brazilian slang for irresistible charm.
Gabriela designs every pair from scratch, taking ideas from crockery and plant pots rather than other shoes. A teacup gave her the daisy-covered sandal the label became known for, and it works from São Paulo with Brazilian materials and handwork throughout.
