About Mali Marea
Helena Busch and Charyl Chappuis founded Mali Marea in Thailand in 2025. Its name pairs jasmine in Thai with tide in Spanish, a nod to the mix of Asian and European influences in the clothes.

Cuts run small, so the brand suggests sizing up if you are between sizes; most styles come in XXS to L. Corsets lace up at the back, and the bonded satin styles are noticeably firmer than the softer ones.
- Pre-orders
Most pieces are made on pre-order and ship in about two to six weeks, so order early for a trip. The pearl-bead dresses take days each to make and open in small numbers.

Hand wash cold and dry flat in the shade, and keep jewelry away from the satin and lace. The pearl-bead dresses cannot be washed or dry cleaned at all.
