About Missoma
Marisa Hordern started Missoma at her kitchen table in London in 2007, drawn by a lifelong love of gemstones. The name blends family names, in honour of her mother and her sister.
She wanted fashion-led jewelry that felt well made without a fine-jewelry price, and the label grew mostly by word of mouth into a name for demi-fine gold pieces designed to be layered.

The vermeil carries 2.5 microns of 18k gold over sterling silver, the bigger plated pieces 2 microns over brass, and the silver is rhodium-plated against tarnish. Every piece has a two-year warranty that covers tarnishing and breakage.
