The Edit

Dual corset lacing runs down the front bodice in black cord, threading through hook-and-bar hardware and tying into bows at the hip — a corseting construction built into the seaming of a fully lined, padded-shoulder wool coat. The herringbone weave reads almost solid at a distance, the texture surfacing only up close, keeping the focus on the waist-defining silhouette. Ankle length with a center front slit and clean inseam pockets; the structure does its work without any external belt.
