Why it's worth it
Four plaids, one ruffle, no consensus — and somehow it works.
The Edit
Four incompatible tartans — micro houndstooth-check at the bust, a wide diagonal plaid across the sides, a bold multi-colorway panel at center front, and a pink-and-olive check at the hem — stitched into a single fitted silhouette. The bodice is darted and structured, closing with a concealed back zip, while the waist releases into a full gathered ruffle with real volume and swing. Each plaid block runs in its own direction, making the seam lines the most deliberate thing about it.
