Wide-band smocking across a 50/50 cotton-poly upcycled shirt fabric — the shirring runs wall-to-wall, giving the belt a gathered, ruffle-frilled edge top and bottom rather than any rigid structure. A center-front lace-up closure in the same striped ribbon ties loosely, so the waist shaping is as relaxed or snug as you choose. The pale honey-on-white micro-stripe reads almost solid at a distance, the texture doing the visual work instead.
