Hand-crocheted in an open-mesh cotton net, this top is entirely unlined — the fishnet structure itself is the garment, with individually applied embroidered fish and life-preserver ring appliqués hand-stitched at each grid intersection. Thick ribbed royal blue straps and a double banded hem provide the only solid anchor points. The skirt piece matches construction exactly, finishing at a raw, uneven hem that follows the natural edge of the crochet.
