About Aureum
Cass DiMicco and Matthew Hoyle, a couple coming from fashion and finance, founded Aureum in 2019 out of their New York apartment. The name is Latin for golden.
It started with gold-plated jewelry for everyday wear, then moved into leather. Belts with sculptural buckles and clutches with jewelry-like closures became its signature, made mostly by family-run workshops in Italy.
