Structural tailoring and statement dresses with classical elegance, the NYC newcomer designing pieces that earn their place.
Think: statement pieces with intention

Centre Piece makes the one textured piece an outfit is built around: calf hair, fringe, sheer layers and scarf necklines in soft neutrals.
Every piece is meant to carry a look on its own, so the interest sits in surface and shape: long-haired calf hair coats and skirts, fringe that moves like a curtain, sheer wool and silk tops with scarf ties, and tailoring with padded shoulders and a nipped waist. The palette stays neutral, ivory to espresso and black, which lets the textures do the work. Production runs in small batches, and the founder deliberately skips categories she sees as crowded.
Ashlyn Lawrence started Centre Piece at the end of 2024, after the label she worked for closed and she was laid off earlier that year. With no formal design training, she set herself an eight-month deadline to launch.
She grew up in northern New Mexico, and its red cliffs and desert colors feed the textures she works with. The label quickly became known for statement pieces in calf hair, fringe and sheer fabrics, each meant to anchor an outfit.
From reviews and try-on videos, in our words.
Fit varies by piece: most styles run true to size, a few run small enough that the product page says to size up, and some are cut oversized on purpose. Maxi skirts may need hemming.
Product pages list the fabric: pure silk and sheer wool tops, wool-cashmere coats, calf hair and lambskin pieces lined in viscose, alongside some blends.
US shipping is free by UPS Ground, usually 4 to 6 business days. International orders ship free too, with duties and taxes paid at checkout, so nothing is due on delivery.
US returns must start within 14 days of delivery, and a $10 flat return fee comes out of the refund. International buyers pay their own return shipping, and sample sale pieces are final.
