About Eliya The Label
Louise Elia launched Eliya The Label in Australia in 2016. She had studied pharmaceutical science and was working as a formulation chemist when, at 24, she decided to start a fashion label with no design training at all.
She travelled to a trade fair to meet manufacturers face to face and built her designs from the fabric up. Ornate, sculpted occasion pieces became the label's signature, and it grew a following well beyond Australia.
