Romantic mini dresses and bridal, handmade to order in Mexico City, for anyone who wants coquette taken seriously.
Think: Coquette corsets, made to order
The buy: the balloon-skirt mini dress
the balloon-skirt mini dress
Maria Ana makes romantic taffeta pieces to order in Mexico City, with puffed sleeves, rosettes and balloon skirts that feel playful rather than precious.
Each piece is cut and sewn for the order in its own studio, in small runs that lean on deadstock and minimal waste. The look is feminine and a little theatrical: corset-style bodices, fabric roses, voluminous sleeves and skirts with a strap that lifts them from midi to mini, alongside crisp cotton basics and a bridal line in the same spirit.
Maria Ana is a Mexico City atelier that makes everything to order, by hand, in its own workshop, and works with local textile designers on many of its prints.
It became known for romantic silhouettes in taffeta and organza, where sleeves, ruffles and flowers do the talking, and has grown to take in bridal, loungewear and matching pieces for children.
From reviews and try-on videos, in our words.
The brand says everything runs true to size, mostly S to L with a few XS or XL styles. Each piece is made for you, so check your size before ordering; the brand covers a first alteration on a new piece, arranged through its official channels.
Every piece is made after you order: allow about 6 to 10 days before it ships, or 10 to 15 business days for bridal. Many prints are made by hand, so color can vary slightly from the photos.
The fabrics are delicate: hand wash or dry clean only when needed, and keep them away from the iron and the dryer.
There are no refunds, returns or cancellations, since each piece is made for you. Exchanges cover only fabric damage the brand approves, reported within 7 days, and archive sale pieces are final.
International orders ship from Mexico City by FedEx, with the fee shown at checkout and prices converted from Mexican pesos. Duties are paid on arrival, and a parcel refused over unpaid duties isn't refunded.
Maria Ana doesn't list fiber content, like “100% silk”, on most of its product pages, so we can't say what its pieces are made of. We checked 41 pieces in October 2026.
