About Maria de la Orden
Maria de la Orden, born in Madrid, was studying law and economics in Paris when a trip to Peru turned her toward textiles. She started with a hobby line of jackets, then launched the label under her own name in 2019 with her business partner, Laura de la Révelière.
Her designs draw on childhood, travel, books and vintage shops, and the label became known for smocked, slightly girlish pieces in bold prints that read retro without feeling like costume.
