About Sabo
Yiota Kouzoukas and Thessy Batsinilas, best friends who became sisters-in-law, started Sabo in Brisbane in 2011, first trading as Sabo Skirt. It began as a fashion blog run from a spare bedroom, then an online shop selling customised vintage and other labels.
Readers kept asking where their outfits came from, so the pair moved to designing everything themselves, and the label grew into a full warm-weather wardrobe of dresses, sets, swim, shoes and occasion wear, built around its own prints.
