About Totême
Elin Kling, who started out as a fashion blogger, and her partner Karl Lindman founded the label in Stockholm in 2014. They set out to make a tight wardrobe of archetypes, pieces with a clear purpose that could be refined rather than replaced.
The house became known for oversized coats in double-faced wool, especially one sold with a matching scarf attached, and later for a sculptural leather bag with a signature metal clasp. The style is graphic and spare, Swedish at heart.
