About Cala de la Cruz
Carolina López Cruz founded Cala de la Cruz in Cali, Colombia, in 2018 with her mother, Liliana Cruz. She studied textile design at SCAD in Savannah and fashion in Milan, then worked as a textile designer in the US.
The name means a small rounded bay, the kind of beach the label dresses for, and its prints set out to show a different side of Latin design: big, bright and simple.
