About Eckhaus Latta
Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta met at art school in Rhode Island, where he studied sculpture and she studied textiles, and founded Eckhaus Latta in 2011. The label grew up between New York and Los Angeles.
It has always sat close to the art world, casting non-professional models instead of agency faces and staging its own exhibition at New York's Whitney Museum in 2018. Knitwear and denim became its core, with a fitted, raw-seamed tee as its calling card.
