About Freja
Jenny Lei founded Freja in New York after a late night of interview prep, when she couldn't find a sleek tote that would carry her laptop and a change of clothes. The first bag launched in 2020, made by a family-owned factory in Guangzhou she chose herself.
Self-funded from the start, it grew through small batches and pre-orders into a label known for minimal, softly structured bags in vegan leather. The name is Scandinavian and means love.
