Minimalist tailoring and modular separates from New York, the suit brand built on immaculate fit.
Think: sharp suiting for downtown New York
The buy: the longline blazer
the longline blazer
Kallmeyer makes sharp tailoring in New York that balances masculine cuts with feminine ease: suits meant for women with real jobs.
Most of the clothes are made in New York, and the tailoring shows it: heavily structured, hand-finished blazers with a deep hourglass line, plus trousers and skirts that combine into a modular wardrobe. Fabrics lean natural, mostly wool, silk, cotton and viscose, and many shapes are cut oversized or slightly shrunken on purpose.

A sale landed in the last few days — Kallmeyer runs one about every 5 weeks.
Born in South Africa, Daniella Kallmeyer launched her label in New York in 2012, after working at Proenza Schouler and Alexander McQueen, with a plan to dress women who needed clothes for work.
Her friends needed suits, so suits became the core, and the label built a loyal following on tailoring that moves easily between masculine and feminine.
From reviews and try-on videos, in our words.
Most pieces fit true to size; the brand's 5'10" model wears a 4 or a small. Oversized shirts and trenches are cut big on purpose, and the brand suggests sizing down for a slimmer line.
Tailoring, dresses and most tops are made in New York; knitwear and leather goods come from Italy, and denim from Portugal.
Fabrics are mostly natural or plant-based, with blazers in wool and viscose blends and blouses in viscose and silk, and very little synthetic across the range.
Refunds are possible within 7 days of delivery, less a $15 restocking fee; after that, exchanges or store credit until day 30. Sale pieces get store credit or a size exchange only.
US orders ship free by UPS Ground, with 2nd Day Air for an extra fee. International orders are final sale, and import duties are the buyer's to pay.
