About Noni Studios
Lara Aker, who grew up in a fashion family, founded Noni Studios at 23 after university in Paris and fashion school at ESMOD, and she runs it as creative director. Noni is the name her father called her as a child, and every piece is made to order rather than in factory runs.
It made its name on going-out clothes with attitude: sequin minis at first, then leopard prints, draped strapless tops and velvet jackets, alongside a small line of handmade pearl jewelry.
