About RAT & BOA
Valentina Muntoni and Stephanie Bennett met at university in 2008 and, after reconnecting in Bangkok years later, put their own money into launching RAT & BOA in 2015. The name nods to a Stevie Nicks line about two people as mismatched as a rat and a boa constrictor.
They ran the label from Bali and Berlin before settling in London, and it grew from holiday dresses into a name for sensual slip dresses, original prints and dressing up properly for a night out.
