About Agua by Agua Bendita
Catalina Álvarez and Mariana Hinestroza met studying fashion design in Medellín and started swimwear label Agua Bendita in 2003, sewing swimsuits from factory scraps on a grandmother's sewing machine.
In 2018 they launched Agua by Agua Bendita as their luxury line, putting hand embroidery and Latin American botanicals at the center, made with the network of women artisans who have worked with them from the start.
