About Ami Paris
Alexandre Mattiussi founded Ami in Paris in 2011, at 30, after learning men's tailoring in the city's couture houses. The name is built from his initials plus the final letter of Mattiussi, and it is also French for friend, a nod to dressing his own circle.
Its logo, an A topped with a heart, began as the doodle he signed notes to friends with as a child. The label started in menswear and added womenswear in 2018, keeping the same relaxed wardrobe for both.
