Bernadette paints its own botanical prints and puts them on fluid Italian silk, with robes you can wear as a dress by night or over jeans by day.
Every print starts as a drawing by its creative director, mostly flowers and plants in saturated colour, and the label builds a whole wardrobe around them: robes, slip dresses and fuller dresses with couture-minded construction and generous volume. The silks and linens come from Italy, and most pieces are made by partners in Europe, with embroidery done by a specialist atelier in India.

About Bernadette
Charlotte De Geyter launched Bernadette in Antwerp in 2018, shortly after finishing at the city's Royal Academy of Fine Arts, with her mother Bernadette as co-founder. They started with a small capsule of printed dresses.
The label grew out of Charlotte's botanical drawings and her mother's eye for vintage gowns and lingerie, and became known for romantic prints on silk, with the robe as the piece that defines it.

US orders ship by DHL Express from Belgium, free over €500 and €25 below that. Duties and taxes are already in the US price, so nothing is due on delivery, but they aren't refunded on a return.
