By Far takes the nineties shoulder bag and the directional heel and makes them in glossy, textured leathers, all produced in Bulgaria.

Twin sisters Sabina Gyosheva and Valentina Ignatova started By Far in Sofia in 2016 with their friend Denitsa Bumbarova. The idea came from a shoe factory in Peshtera, where Bumbarova's husband was fitting solar panels and brought home a list of its costs.
Shoes came first and reached a London pop-up just after launch. Bags followed in 2018, led by a compact nineties shoulder bag, and that silhouette in glossy or textured leather became what the label is known for.
