About Ciao Lucia
Lucy Akin was running a boutique in Los Angeles in 2017 when she made six sample pieces, inspired by the costumes in a late-1990s film. They sold out, and she spent the following months turning them into a label.
She named it after the nickname she picked up as a student in Rome, and built it around the women of old films: polished but undone, feminine and easy to want.
