About Kika Vargas
Kika Vargas was born in Bogotá, studied fine art in Chicago and fashion in Milan, and worked at Missoni before going home to start her own label in 2011.
She set out to make clothes where art and architecture meet, and became known for sculptural, romantic volume and her own hand-drawn prints. In 2021 she became the first designer from Colombia to be named an LVMH Prize finalist.
