About Maria La Rosa
Maria La Rosa grew up in Sicily and moved to Milan to study before working in fashion. In Paris she found an old loom in a junk shop, taught herself to weave, and in the 1990s began turning her own fabrics into bags.
Her daughters, Alice and Lisa, grew up among the looms and later joined her in the Milan atelier, widening the work into knitting, crochet, macramé and embroidery while keeping every piece made by hand in Italy.
