Alexia Elkaim started miaou in 2016 with a single pair of body-hugging jeans, modeled on a Parisian vintage find, because she couldn't find trousers that fit her or her friends properly.
Raised between Paris, New York and Los Angeles, and a lifelong flea-market regular, she grew it into a full ready-to-wear label known above all for its corsets, then widened the sizing so more bodies could wear them.
