About Ottolinger
Cosima Gadient and Christa Bösch met at fashion school in Basel, moved to Berlin and founded Ottolinger there in 2015, working out of a tiny studio. The name was already on the doorbell, left by the family whose apartment it was.
The label made its name on purposeful destruction: fabric burned, slashed and pieced back together into clubwear with a couture outline, plus deconstructed denim and accessories as odd and exacting as the clothes.
