About Alameda Turquesa
Ana Domingues and her daughter, Carolina Santos, started Alameda Turquesa in Portugal in 2012, when pom-pom bracelets Ana made for her daughters took off on Facebook. In 2014 they moved the pom-poms onto sandals.
Carolina, who trained as an architect, and Ana grew the hobby into a footwear house in Coimbra, adding pearls and seashells, then bags and pearl-trimmed shearling sandals, all handmade to order.
